Ways to Clear, Tonned and Radiant Skin
Festive season is all around here and having a glowing skin is our 'janm siddh adhikar.' Investing money in expensive products can't always be affordable. So here are some DIYs that can provide you a glowing skin along with a pocket friendly offer.
1. Exfoliation- Exfoliating your body and face twice a week is more than enough. It helps in clearing the pores of your skin and removing dead skin cells. Coffee is a natural exfoliator that not only provide you a clear skin but also a smooth texture.
Add some crushed sugar along with coffee and coconut oil. Mix it well and then scrub it on your body in circular motion. Focus specially on your elbow and knee areas. You can also scrub your face with grounded coffee and Olive oil/ Coconut oil.
2. Body and Face Packs- Packs are something that can't be skipped for a longer time and are available in almost every kitchen. Besan is a master ingredient for any pack whether it is for our face or body.
Add 2-3 tablespoon of gram flour along with 1/4th tablespoon of turmeric, 1 tablespoon of coconut oil and required milk. Make a lump free paste, apply an even layer on your body and leave it for about 15-20 minutes. After that wash it off rinsing your body in circular motion. You can go for following face packs-
•Banana and honey
•Gram flour, turmeric, milk cream and milk.
•Gram flour, tumeric and curd
•Multani mitti and rose water.
3. CTM Process- Cleansing- Toning- Moisturizing twice a day gifts you a glowing skin ( You can go on for a third round if engaged in exercise or other physical activity but not more than that) Milk is a natural cleanser with no harsh chemicals unlike face washes. Rose water can be your all time affordable toner. Many people think that not using a toner is of no worry but keep in mind that toners maintain PH level of your face by entering into it's layers. Moisturizing your face is something that heals your skin and locks the benefit of all the process from cleansing to scrubbing to face pack. For moisturizing your skin, you may prefer aloe vera gel or other moisturizer of your choice.
4. Body and Face Massage- Without recommending any expensive oil, let's focus on the coconut oil that almost we all have used. Coconut oil is not less than a vardaan in our daily life, from make up remover to a wonderful moisturizer, it has all the properties. Massaging your body with coconut oil will not only add glow to your skin but will also improve the blood circulation.
5. Water, water and water- Drinking water 2-3 letres a day helps in detoxifying your body, clear impurities and removes toxic giving you a flawless skin and keeps you hydrated.
Caution- Consuming something is as bad as ignoring it. Consuming less water is as bad consuming it more than enough. Consuming water in a wrong way and wrong time may affect your kidney. Water definitely clears toxic from your body but consuming it whole day without a definite break may lead to kidney problems.
6. Coconut water- Coconut water is rich in cytokinins which is an anti-ageing agent. It helps in hydrating your skin, balance the electrolyte balance of your body, tones your skin, reduces acne problem and provides healthy hair.
